Solution Overview
Wmode's web and e-mail infrastructures; which are used to develop, aggregate, and distribute the company's mobile content; were continuously coming under fire from viruses and other malware. Often, the financial toll was costly as the company had to expend extensive resources in order to recover the computers and the networks that were infected. Wmode needed a Network Security Appliance that could address the company's stringent IT security and performance standards when protecting its network from viruses and other malware. The company required a solution that had high throughput, extreme accuracy, scalability, ease of deployment within their infrastructure, deep content inspection capabilities and an effective management console. With the deployment of the Wedge BeSecure appliance in Wmode's network there have been no virus infections and Spam has been virtually eliminated; maintenance time has been significantly reduced and staff productivity greatly increased.
