Wedge Networks BeSecure NDP-1005D is designed for networks with up to 50 users providing SMB customers with a cost effective Internet and email gateway security solution. The BeSecure NDP-1005D is able to detect violations in internet usage policies allowing organizations to block access to unauthorized web content by individual URL, website categorization, keywords contained on a specific web page and time of day Internet use. The BeSecure NDP-1005D provides the ability to block unwanted network ingress/egress attempts by traffic based on file types, file size, file source and file destination. The network is defended by scanning all HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3 and FTP layer 7 traffic for malicious virus programs and spam and comparing it against signature databases provided by Best of Breed Technology Partners. Malicious attacks are defended against prior to reaching the network endpoint infrastructure, ensuring gateway security.
